Parish Communion Breakfast
This year's Parish Communion Breakfast took place on Sunday, November 2nd, and we had a great turnout of both Rosarians and nonmember parishioners. Sister Marlene Milasus of the Benadictine Monastery in Elizabeth spoke to us about just how accessible and devoted our Blessed Mother is to each and every one of us, and she presented Her to us in a way that was both divine and very human. Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast catered by the Broadway Diner, and a Table of Remembrance honored our deceased loved ones for All Souls Day. A big thank you goes out to every Rosarian who made it such a special day, especially our event coordinator Barbara G, whose remarkable energy made the gathering such a success. We hope to see you all again soon!
Advent Reflection Series
At the end of November, Maureen B will once again lead us in a 4 week series of Advent Reflections based on a book series called The Carols of Christmas. This year we will be working with Volume 2, which can be purchased through Amazon with the link below, or can be ordered by Maureen at a slight discount when she places a bulk order. The first meeting will be on Saturday morning, November 29th in the St. Joseph's room and will continue on December 6th, 13th, and 20th. Last year's reflection series was very popular, and this year's promises to build on that momentum. For more information or to sign up for the series, please contact Maureen by email at mbodnar1956@gmail.com.
It is with sadness that we must announce the passing of Rosarian Joan Rogers, Monday Oct 27th at her home. She was a devoted parishioner of Blessed Miriam Teresa, and was a past president and treasurer of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the parish choir. Joan lived in Bayonne for over 70 years, and she loved taking bus trips with her friends. Joan's visitation will be at the Bayonne Funeral Home from 3pm-7pm on Wednesday, Oct 29th, and her funeral Mass will be at St. Mary's Church at 10am on Thursday the 30th. We ask that as many Rosarians as possible be at the church to serve as an honor guard. If you would like to read Joan's obituary, you can use the link below.
Rosarian Contact Information Project
As some of you may know, Secretary Amy L. has been working on updating our membership contact list, which had grown outdated. We'd like to have a current member database that will make it easier to reach all of our members with important news and events. We are in a transitional time in which we have society members who only use a land line and some members who would rather have all contact through text or email. We'd like to know your preferences, so we ask that you click on the link below to access our Contact Form. This information is for Rosary Society business only, and is not available to the parish at large.
Thanks in advance for your time!

Who We Are
All women of BMT Parish are welcome to join us at our next meeting! We are always looking for new ways to share our faith and fellowship with each other. At our meetings you can learn about opportunities for small discussion groups, prayer breakfasts, guest speakers, volunteerism, and more. At every meeting we pray the rosary together, and you will learn the unique power that is present when so many women lift their voices in this beautiful act. Feel love for the rosary grow in your heart while your connection with our community strengthens as well. We hope to see you there!
We would like to send a special thanks to all of the Society members of BMT and our sister parishes in Bayonne who went above and beyond to make our 41st Annual Citywide Communion Breakfast a success! Over 130 women and guests joined us for a lovely meal and a stirring talk by Dr. Diane Traflet of Seton Hall University. We hope you will join us next year, when St. Vincent de Paul Parish hosts the celebration.
The 2025 Bayonne Citywide Communion Breakfast was held at the Chandelier Restaurant in Bayonne. Every guest received a beautiful St. Mary prayer card and bookmark, and a BMT pen--all of which had been generously donated by several of our Society members. Five of our elected city officials joined us, and Rep. Neil Carroll shared a lovely story of how he was touched by the devotion his own mother, aunts, and grandmothers had to the Blessed Mother. When everyone raised their voices in prayer, you could feel the presence of God in the room in a very real way. I left the event with joy in my heart and a renewed commitment to praying the Rosary. I'm sure I was not alone in that.
